RETROSPECTION: THE ARTISTS WAY OF GIVING BACK
Eight accomplished artists who graduated from the Techno-logical University of the Philippines (TUP) High School are exhibiting their best works of art in a group show at the One Workshop Gallery from January 24-February 7, 2009 in loving tribute to their mentors. Dubbed Retrospection, the group exhibit is an expression of the artists sense of deep love and gratitude for their high school alma mater and former mentors through their works of art. Proceeds of the exhibit will support the Iskolar at Guro ng Bayan program of the PSAT PCAT TUP High School Alumni Association (PPTHSAA) which aims to extend assistance to poor but deserving students and mentors. The TUP High School was finally closed in 1988 and because of that, the high school alumni feel a deep sense of a common past which they will always treasure in their hearts.
